# Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor Bring Both Families to Don't Be Shy Screening

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor turned the special screening of Don't Be Shy into a family night out. The couple arrived together and were joined by Neetu Kapoor, Mahesh Bhatt and Soni Razdan, who came to support the film. Actor Sharvari was also among the guests at the event, which reports place in Mumbai.

Alia's sister Shaheen Bhatt, who produces the film with her, was reportedly there with her boyfriend Ishaan Mehra. According to reports, Ranbir first posed for photographers with Alia and his mother Neetu, then made sure to call the Bhatts over for a group picture that brought both families into one frame. Samay Raina, Orry and Vedang Raina were also reportedly spotted at the screening.

Alia's look was one of the talking points of the evening. She wore a short outfit covered in silver sequins and dotted with bright flowers in red, blue and yellow, and she finished it with green heels that stood out against the shine. Reports say the outfit was a two-piece, a crew-neck top with a mini skirt, from Ashish's Fall 2026 collection, styled by Priyanka Kapadia. She reportedly kept the rest simple, with heart-shaped studs, a few rings, soft loose waves and glowing makeup.

Ranbir went for a relaxed but neat look, reportedly a light blue shirt with rolled-up sleeves and beige trousers. His outing reportedly came soon after the makers revealed his first look from Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War.

As for the film, reports say Don't Be Shy is written and directed by Sreeti Mukerji and produced by Alia and Shaheen under their banner Eternal Sunshine Productions, with Grishma Shah and Vikesh Bhutani of Chalkboard Entertainment as co-producers. The story reportedly follows Shyamili Shy Das, a 20-year-old whose carefully planned life suddenly falls into chaos. Newcomers Aarushi Bajaj, Piyush Khati, Bianca Arora and Ansh Duggal play the leads, with Kunaal Roy Kapur, Anurag Basu, Neha Dhupia and Anju Alva Naik in important roles. The film is reportedly streaming now on Amazon Prime Video.
