Aakash Jagannadh launched the trailer of Chakkora: Lunar Love Bird at an event in Hyderabad. The film is the first directorial outing for Manga Srinivas, and it opens in theatres worldwide on October 9. Sri Lakshmi Pictures is releasing it.

Dr. Chintada Hemarao produces the film under the High Joy Commercials banner, in association with VIP (Vintage Iconic Pictures). The makers describe it as a Mass Poetry love story, and the trailer leans hard into that style, with stylised, eye-catching frames throughout.

The trailer starts light. Sravan plays Ravana Brahma, a laid-back young man whose easygoing ways bring plenty of fun moments. His life turns around when Julie, played by Malaika T. Vasupal, walks into it. He falls for her completely, follows her, proposes to her and is ready to fight for her. It is a lively, youthful romance for the first stretch.

Then the tone changes. Julie vanishes without warning, and Ravana Brahma sets out to find her. His search pulls him into unfamiliar ground, where he starts uncovering secrets tied to her past. Where Julie went, what happened to her and what that means for the couple sit at the emotional heart of the film.

Prince Henry's background score runs under the trailer and adds weight to both the romantic and the mysterious portions. Beyond the central love story, the film brings in friendship and family emotions, and it is being positioned as a romantic family entertainer with a fresh take on love for Telugu audiences.

The supporting cast reportedly includes Anushka Luhar, Yamini, L.B. Sriram, Suman, Brahmaji, Indraja, Mani Chandana and Nellore Sudarshan, among others. With the release date close, the trailer gives fans a clear look at the mix of romance, action and mystery that Chakkora is offering.
