Varun (Vijay Devarakonda) is forced to become the CM of Tamil Nadu when his father (Nasser) is imprisoned and loses his CM chair. He is an easy going youth who stays the same even after becoming the CM until he realizes his responsibilities and power and decides to change the society and politics with the support of his advisor Mahendran (Sathyaraj).

The plot of this film revolves around a girl named Sakhi who is seen as a character causing bad luck to everyone in her village. After making some sweet friendships despite her alleged flaws, she goes on to prove everyone in her village wrong, and that she is rather a 'good luck Sakhi'.To fulfill her goal, she rigorously trains to become a sharpshooter to compete at the National level.
