## Biography
Vidya Balan is an Indian film Actress. She predominantly works in Bollywood film industry. She made her debut with the Bollywood film "Parineeta" in the year 2005. She started her acting career at the age of 16 with the television show called "Hum Paanch". She was also seen in several television commercials and music videos.Vidya made her debut with the Bengali film "Bhalo Theko" in the year 2003. For her extraordinary performances she has received National Film Award, five FilmFare Awards and five Screen Awards. She has acted in films like Paa, Ishqiya No One Killed Jessica, The Dirty Picture, Kahaani and many other films.She was the "Bollywood Best Actress" for two consecutive years (2010-2011). Vidya also promotes humanitarian causes and supports the empowerment of women.
