Making his directorial debut in 2011 with the Siddharth, Shruti Haasan, and Hansika Motwani-starrer Oh My Friend, Venu Sriram is known for his work in the Telugu film industry. Six years after his debut, in 2017, he directed the drama MCA (Middle Class Abbayi), which features Nani and Sai Pallavi in lead roles.
