Samantha Ruth Prabhu is an Indian film Actress and Model. She predominantly works in Telugu and Tamil film industries. She made her debut with the Tamil film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa in the year 2010. She made her debut with the Telugu film Ye Maaya Chesave in the year 2010. She made her debut with the Bollywood film Ekk Deewana Tha in a cameo role in the year 2013. She has started her modeling career during late teens.She became the second actress after Revathi to win both FilmFare Awards for Best Tamil Actress and Best Telugu Actress. Samantha is a prominent celebrity endorser for brands and products. She started her own NGO, Pratyusha Support in 2012, to provide medical support for women and children. She donates her earnings from endorsements, product launches and inauguration events to support the foundation. She has received three FilmFare Awards.
