## Biography
Rohit Mehta was born on 26th December 1985 in Tipra, a small village in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh. He is an Indian actor and model, who works in Bollywood films, web series, Television series, and commercial advertisements. He began his acting career in 2008 and primarily starred in commercial advertisements and print advertisements. He also played a leading role in a family drama television series "Tum Bin jiya jaye na" published on Doordarshan (DD National), 2015.  He was born into a Rajput family. His mother, Shanti Mehta, is a housewife, and his father, Ram Saran Mehta, is a BDO officer(Retired). He has three elder sisters Usha, Nisha, Pinky, and an elder brother. He grew up in a joint family and described his childhood as "simple and happy."  He completed his high school education from Sr. Sec. School Chaupal, and graduated from Government College Solan.  His parents wished for him to be a businessman, but he wanted to do something different in his life. In college days, he used to dance and felt that he would continue his career as an actor. He completed his graduation and shifted to Delhi. In Delhi, after doing some albums and print shoots, he found that there is "no scope for creativity." Mehta decided to shift his focus towards acting and moved to Mumbai.  Mehta got an ad film with famous actress Amrita Rao in " Marvel Tea after struggling for six months. After that, he worked in many commercial advertisements and print advertisements. After doing dozens of advertisements he finally got the main role in Doordarshan (DD National ), TV serial "Tum bin jiya jaye na. He played the character of Ishaan Singh and got esteem and identity from the viewers.
