## Biography
Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, a.k.a Jr.NTR, is a popular South Indian Actor. He is the only son of N.Harikrishna and Shalini and grandson of the Legendary Actor and former CM of Andhrapradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. He has two stepbrothers, Janaki Ram, film producer, and Kalyan Ram, a producer and an actor as well, along with a step-sister, Suhasini, a software engineer turned politician. His step-mother's name is Lakshmi.  His father, Harikrishna, is an actor, film producer, and a former member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh.   Jr.NTR was born in Hyderabad on 20th May 1983. He graduated from Vignan college Vadlamudi, Andhrapradesh. As a child artiste, he made his debut on screen with Brahmarshi Vishwamitra, and he later went on to act in the titular role of Rama in Gunasekhar's mythological film Ramayanam (1996), which won the National Film Award for Best Children's Film. He made his debut as a lead actor with the movie Ninnu Choodalani (2001), produced by Ramoji Rao. It was Student No.1 (2001), with Rajamouli that established him as an actor, supposed to be his first movie, which got delayed because of production issues. The duo returned with the movie Simhadri (2003), which gave him the mass image. But the actual turning point in his career came from the movie Aadi(2002), directed by V.V.Vinayak. It was no turning back for the actor who did some great movies creating sensational records. His movie, Raki(2006), directed by Krishna Vamsi has displayed his vivid acting skills.     Jr.NTR holds the record for two state Nandi Awards, two Filmfare Awards South, and four CineMAA Awards.  He is married to Lakshmi Pranathi, in the year 2011. She is the niece of veteran politician and former CM of Andhrapradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu. The couple has two kids, namely Nandamuri Abhay Ram and Bhargava Ram.
