Kanagana has worked in the Tollywood film Ek Niranjana. She has received three National Film Awards and four Film Fare Awards for Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress. She has also associated with the cause Swachh Bharat. She is trained 'Kathak' dancer and loves doing yoga.
