Dhanush (Venkatesh Prabhu) is an Indian film Actor, Director, Producer, writer, Lyricist and Playback Singer. He predominantly works in Tamil film industry. He also worked in Telugu films. He made his debut with the Tamil film 'Thulluvadho Ilamai'. He had become international popular by the song "Why This Koleveri Di". Dhanush produces the films under the production company called 'Wunderbar Films'. He has received 58th National Film Award, three National Film Awards and seven FilmFare Awards.
